My services include one-on-one herbal consultation sessions, hosting herbal first aid & wellness spaces at events; workshops, and consulting with organizations who want to incorporate herbal medicines into holistic goods and practices.
Herbal Wellness Consultations
For herbal consultations schedule a complementary 15 minute phone or videoconferencing consultation free of charge.
I am available for consultations in-person at The Scarlet Sage clinic in San Francisco or at Gathering Thyme in Fairfax. I sometimes make house calls and I am available via phone, google hangout, and Skype.
During our hour and a half - two hour consultation we will sit together to discuss your medical history, dietary and lifestyle practices, and all of the little important details which make you the unique person you are. All is strictly confidential and held in a nonjudgemental space.
We will explore the underlying causes of illness & create a wellness plan that is practical and attainable. Throughout our time together I may share tools, resources, and supportive protocols with you. You will receive an organic herbal formula which will be finely tuned to your specific constitution and needs. The medicinals within it are artfully hand selected to address your unique physiological, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
I ask that you bring a list of current medications and a notebook for taking notes.
A follow-up visit to review your healing process can be scheduled 3 – 5 weeks later or at your discretion, at which time you may receive a refill or a new herbal formula. Subsequent visits may be monthly to six weeks and depending on what you need and want.
You can contact me at email@example.com or leave me a voicemail at 510-394-2993.

Sliding Scale Based On Intersections of Oppression & a Social Justice Lens.
I have a limited number of sliding scale appointments per month. Sliding scales are often based on individual income levels, with people of higher incomes paying more. I take into account how oppression in all it’ forms affect socio economic status while balancing my needs. In a society that never talks about class, yet retains enormous class differences, I acknowledge how difficult this process can be. Thinking about class issues provokes a lot of fear, regret, anger, and other feelings. It is, however, an important part of working towards providing equal access to our services for everyone, for our collective healing, and taking a step towards economic justice.
The following is from fellow herbalist Elokin Orton-Cheung and it speaks for me as well: “As a practitioner, it’s important to me to have a rate that is accessible to my clients, and fair to other practitioners in my community who also make their living through this work. My sliding scale rates reflect my commitment to the herbal community while working towards making herbal medicine accessible. I don’t want to see anyone turned away for lack of funds. I also do trades for reduced rates. Please contact me to find out more.”
To figure out what fee you should pay on this sliding scale, I have a form that you fill out for your own reflection and purposes and to determine the appropriate fee for my services.
